In 2014, Coliman Grupo obtained Fairtrade certification for their organic bananas, demonstrating their ongoing commitment to sustainability at all levels – human and environmental.
Fairtrade and organic premiums have enabled Coliman to invest in the well-being of their 2,000 employees in a number of ways.
Collaborators benefit from regular medical check-ups throughout the year to help prevent chronic diseases. They also actively encourage their employees to maintain healthy, active lifestyles.
“Our main goal, when we refer to the Coliman family, is the integral well-being of all employees and their families by adopting healthy lifestyles.” Coliman.
Coliman also greatly believes in the power of education. In 2017 they opened the Coilman Corporate University. The training facility focuses on developing and educating all Coilman employees – both male and female. Coliman also provides the schools of their employee’s children with the supplies they need in order to deliver the highest possible standard of education. From stationary to computers and electronic tablets, Coliman is committed to helping improve the standards within schools.
Coliman also actively supports more than 20 non-governmental organizations, providing food assistance and/or social welfare assistance to people with limited resources, seniors, children, among others.
More recently, Coliman launched ‘Un Kilo Que Alimenta Sonrisas’ or ‘ 1 Kilo Nourishing Smiles’ campaign. As part of World Food Day, Coliman distributed 1k of food to people in vulnerable zones within the States of Sonora, Sinaloa, Baja California Sur, Colima and Chiapas.

Coliman Allfresch is a joint venture between Allfresch and Mexican banana producer Coliman Grupo. Together we aim to provide a stable and reliable supply of premium quality, organic and organic Fairtrade Coliman bananas throughout the year. We are committed to working towards a sustainable future.

We continue to promote strategic alliances with organizations and government entities that will bring us closer to those we impact the most with our operations.
Working together as a group has allowed Coliman Allfresch to create integrated supply chains and strategic partnerships that close the gap between clients and producers. Our unique position enables us to keep up with client demands and source product to specification, providing producers and clients with more security, stability and visibility throughout the entire supply chain.
We take an active role in the production and quality control process of all of the products we import and export. Not only does this guarantee quality for our customers, but it also ensures that our producers are working in fair conditions and have a stable income. We believe in rewarding hard work. Our primary aim is to provide our producers with more security and stability.
