Inverafrut Pushes for Fairtrade Certified Limes

Mexican Limes Exporter and producer Inverafrut is pushing for Fairtrade certified limes again this year.

Grown in Martinez de la Torre, Mexico, the Fairtrade certified crop aims to meet the growing demands of the marketplace while improving the lives of farmers, their communities and lessen the environmental impact of production.

Fairtrade Certified Limes Due Soon

We believe that customers will significantly receive the Fairtrade alternative. The popularity of Persian Limes has increased over recent years due to the fruits recognised fresh flavour, health benefits, lack of seeds and increased use in recipes and beverages.

Inverafrut is aiming for Fairtrade certification to be complete in a couple of months ready for export to Europe and the rest of the world later this year.
